The Turks and Caicos Islands are a sun-kissed paradise in the West Indies, known for turquoise water, fine sand beaches, fun water activities like snorkeling, and exotic marine life. You’ll learn from world-class coaches and discover the rich culture and beauty of the island, all while enjoying the perks of staying at an all-inclusive resort. There will be a combination of permanent and temporary pickleball courts on this getaway!

Single Occupancy: $4,090 USD
Double Occupancy: $6,960 USD ($3,480 per person)

You can make a $1,000 Initial Deposit to reserve a single occupancy or $1,200 to reserve a double occupancy. You need only place one Initial Deposit for your entire double occupancy. Your initial deposit will be deducted from your grand total.

After placing your Initial Deposit, the remainder will be due by July 14th, 2026. You can pay your remaining balance from your Pickleball Getaways account at any time.

Turkoise Club Med

We will be hosted by Turkoise Club Med, an all-inclusive, adults-only resort! Turkoise wears its name well, located alongside stunning turquoise water and powder-soft sand. A snorkeler’s paradise, it is also the perfect spot for those in search of sun, fun, and sports – day and night!

We will be staying in the resort’s Superior Rooms, which are spread throughout the resort and look out into exotic gardens. Each room is equipped with a mini fridge, kettle (coffee/tea), iron, lockbox, hair dryer, and magnifying mirror. Laundry services are available for a fee.

The Club Med’s main restaurant offers exceptional food and drink, or you can stop by the beachside grill! Enjoy evenings performances and shows after dinner, with good vibes and a casual atmosphere.

Besides pickleball, Turkoise Club Med offers lots of other fun activities, including tennis, trapeze, snorkeling, kayaking, paddle boarding, bocce ball, and more!

Pickleball

Play pickleball in paradise with 7.5+ hours of expert instruction and play with our pros, plus endless opportunities for open play and friendly competition. Whether you’re looking to improve your skills, meet new playing partners, or just have fun, this getaway offers something for every level of player.

Here’s what you have to look forward to:

  • Daily instructional clinics led by top pros and coaches with a 6:1 ratio of students and coaches — or better!
  • A pro exhibition

  • Skill-based meetup play to ensure competitive and enjoyable games

Play will take place on a combination of permanent and temporary pickleball courts. Water refill stations and Jigsaw Health Electrolytes are provided on-site.

Instructional clinics include demonstrations, drills, minigames, strategy, mechanics, and much more. Our team will start out with a demonstration, and then players will be assigned to courts to practice while coaches oversee. Court assignments are based on your own self-evaluation when you register and are adjusted if coaches notice mismatched players.

Pros

Ben Johns will be joining this getaway for a clinic, our play-with-the-pros session, an exhibition, and our Pro Q&A. Don’t miss your opportunity to learn from the greatest pickleball player of all time!

The rest of our team will be carefully handpicked based on their experience, instructional skills, and love of the sport. The full lineup of coaches is yet to be announced, but you can get a sneak peek of who might be there by clicking HERE.

Some of our pros may offer private lessons, depending on their personal preference.

Guests

We welcome players of all skill levels, from beginners to advanced competitors! We typically see a lot of 3.0-4.0 players, with some 2.5 and 4.5 players. We’ll make sure you’re matched with other guests at your level for the best experience.

Activities

Our non-pickleball events include group dinners, a cocktail party, and a pro Q&A! We’ll begin with a group Welcome Dinner on your arrival day. This is your chance to meet the team and fellow guests in a relaxed atmosphere after you settle in.

Our Cocktail Party is a great opportunity to get to know our pros and other guests. Enjoy a balmy evening with drinks, snacks, and a sunset view.

During the Pro Q&A session, our pros will take the stage. This is your opportunity to ask anything you’re curious about — whether it’s about clinics, tournaments, or pros’ personal lives!

Lastly, we’ll wrap up the week with a group Farewell Dinner, where you can reflect on the memories made and enjoy your final evening with newfound friends.

Tours

Join us for local excursions planned exclusively for Pickleball Getaways guests! Explore the local area, experience the culture, and enjoy the sights and flavors that make Turks & Caicos unique.

There will be two optional, off-site excursions that you can book for an additional fee. These excursions will likely be a boating/snorkeling experience, and a local island tour. Registration for these excursions will be sent to you closer to the trip’s start date.

Transportation

You should fly into the Providenciales International Airport (PLS) on November 13th and fly out on November 19th. We recommend arriving in the morning or afternoon so that you can attend our welcome dinner in the evening!

We will collect your flight details in advance so that we can keep tabs on your arrival and have ground transportation waiting for you. Once you collect your luggage, proceed to the exit and let a ground transportation agent know you are with Pickleball Getaways. One of our team members will also be available to help you if you run into any issues at the airport.

  • In the case of rain, clinics will be rescheduled as needed. Rain is infrequent, and the courts dry very quickly if it does rain.
  • Your credit/debit cards and your US cash will be accepted.
  • You do not need a Visa.

  • Your US plugs for chargers/etc. will work at the resort.
  • The resort offers laundry services for a fee.

This policy applies to Pickleball Getaways to North America, Central America, and South America.

If cancelling 121 days or more from date of trip: 50% refund of the Initial Deposit

If cancelling 91-120 days from date of trip: Loss of the Initial Deposit

If cancelling 61-90 days from date of trip: 50% refund of total amount paid

If cancelling 60 or fewer days from date of trip: No refund

Nick is a professional pickleball player who has quickly made a name for himself in the sport since beginning his career in 2021. Now based in Southern California, he serves as the Head Pickleball Professional at Nellie Gail Ranch Tennis & Pickleball Club in Laguna Hills, where he works with players of all skill levels and backgrounds.

In just a few years, Nick has earned multiple wins over top PPA and APP touring professionals and has established himself as one of the top players in Southern California. He made his first center court appearance at the PPA Masters against Ben Johns, highlighting his rapid rise in the professional game. Off the court, Nick co-founded FUN Pickleball alongside his girlfriend, Maggie Brascia, and her sister Mary Brascia, both touring professionals on the PPA Tour.

Fern Esquivel

Education: Bachelor’s Degree from The Ohio State University

Fern discovered pickleball in 2018 and has been hooked ever since. While attending THE Ohio State University, he founded the school’s pickleball program, which quickly became one of the top collegiate programs in the country. Under his leadership, Ohio State qualified for nationals every year and inspired the creation of pickleball programs at other major universities, including the University of Pittsburgh and Indiana University.

After graduating, Fern served as Director of Pickleball and Tournaments at a major facility, helping grow community participation and elevate event operations. He later played a key role in building the DUPR Collegiate Circuit, connecting and developing college programs nationwide. Most recently, Fern became the Director of Operations for the Columbus Sliders of Major League Pickleball, where he helped the team rise from one of the league’s lowest-ranked to 2025 MLP National Champions.

Vivian is a top-10 professional pickleball player known for her competitive drive, athleticism, and strategic mindset. Before transitioning to pickleball, she was the No. 1 ranked junior tennis player in the Pacific Northwest and went on to compete at the Division I level for both UC Berkeley and the University of Virginia.

Since turning professional, Vivian has quickly risen through the ranks, achieving a career-high world ranking of No. 7 in 2025 and earning recognition as one of the top DUPR-rated female players. Sophia Phuong Anh Tran

Sophia is one of Asia’s brightest rising stars in pickleball and the youngest professional player on the PPA Asia Tour. Born in 2008, Sophia discovered pickleball in March 2024 while recovering from a tennis shoulder injury. What began as rehab quickly became a passion; within months, she was competing internationally.

In her debut at the WPC Carmelina (Vietnam) in April 2024, Sophia captured gold in U18 Girls Singles and bronze medals in both Intermediate Women’s Doubles and Advanced Mixed Doubles, signaling the start of her competitive career. Since then, she has competed across Japan, Hong Kong, Malaysia, China, Bali, and the U.S., gaining attention for her skill, maturity, and fearless play.

Sophia’s defining moment came when she was selected as one of only 12 athletes in Asia for the UPA Asia Trailblazers Program, an elite initiative designed to develop top regional talent. During this 3-month training period, she reached the main draws in Women’s Singles and Doubles at the PPA San Clemente Cup, officially earning her first PPA points and solidifying her place among the sport’s next generation of pros.

Chris has been competing at the highest level of tournament pickleball since 1989 and has amassed one of the sport’s most impressive résumés. Brandon Nsekpong, a 32-year-old professional pickleball player from Dallas, Texas, comes from a Nigerian heritage and now lives in Austin, Texas with his wife and 1-year-old son. When he's not competing or coaching, Brandon works full-time at Amazon.

Brandon’s journey into racquet sports began at the age of 7, when he picked up a table tennis paddle and developed a love for racquet games. This early exposure led to several US Open appearances, setting the stage for his transition to pickleball. After playing pickleball for about 5 years, Brandon went pro in 2021, and his career has since flourished. With over eight top-10 finishes in various tournaments, he is currently ranked #38 in the world.

Michelle Esquivel

 Hometown: Estero, Florida 

Michelle was introduced to pickleball in 2014 and transitioned to teaching and playing professionally full-time in 2018. Since then, she has medaled in several PPA and APP tournaments in both Pro Singles and Pro Doubles divisions and has played in all Major League Pickleball seasons.

Before diving into pickleball, Michelle earned a full tennis scholarship at Concordia University, Irvine, where she graduated with a BA in Exercise Sports Science with an emphasis in teaching and coaching. After graduation, Michelle became a USPTA-certified instructor at Matchpoint Tennis Academy and later served as a collegiate tennis coach at both Orange Coast College and Cypress College. She furthered her education by obtaining a Master’s Degree in Physical Education from Azusa Pacific University, preparing her to teach Kinesiology courses at the collegiate level.

As a passionate teacher and coach, Michelle has established herself as one of the top instructors in the pickleball community. She is IPTPA certified and the Founder & Co-Director of Ultimate Pickleball Academy.
