It has a winning combination of scenic cities, rich culture, delectable cuisines, natural beauty, and welcoming inhabitants. This trip will include visits to Lisbon, Porto, Sintra, Douro Valley, Guimaraes, Aveiro, historical sites, wineries, and much more!

We will be staying in three different 4-5-star hotels throughout our trip:

    Pickleball

We will set up temporary pickleball courts for our daily use. There will be daily instructional clinics, open play, time for play-with-the-pros, and a pro exhibition!

We welcome guests of any and all skill levels. We will match you with other players so that you are playing with guests at your approximate skill level.

If you would like to register for this trip but you have a partner or roommate who does not play pickleball, please let us know at info@pickleballgetaways.com; you will be eligible for a discount for the guest who will not participate in the pickleball activities.

    Pros & Coaches

The daily clinics with our pros have a premium ratio of students-to-coaches so that you receive lots of individual feedback! A hand-picked, skilled team will lead these clinics, providing a wide variety of knowledge and experience. Our team is typically made up of professional players, retired players, and/or experienced instructors.

The coaches on this trip have not been announced yet, but you can check out our Guest Pros page to see who often make appearances on our getaways. Some of our pros may offer private lessons, depending on their personal preference.

You should fly into and out of the Lisbon International Airport (LIS). Ground transportation will be provided!

You should fly in on June 21st and fly out on June 30th. The exact timing of your flights on these days does not matter, but we recommend flying in a little earlier in the day on June 21st so that you can attend our welcome dinner that evening.

We will collect your flight information prior to the trip to arrange your ground transportation to/from the airport. If your arrival is delayed for some reason, your shuttle will wait for you. You will find your driver waiting in the passenger pickup area, holding a sign that says “Pickleball Getaways”. To find the meeting point, all you need to do is collect your bags and head towards the exit!
